Off-site Program Request

Please use this form if you would like Wildlife Center staff to bring one of our education programs to your library, community center, festival, school, or other location; programs are typically conducted Mondays through Saturdays between 10am and 3pm. Your request will be e-mailed to the Wildlife Center’s outreach department, and one of the Center’s outreach staff will contact you to complete the reservation. Your reservation is not complete until you have been sent a confirmation letter via e-mail.

Please make your request at least two weeks in advance, but no more than three months in advance, of your desired program date. We typically avoid booking programs further than three months in advance to reduce the likelihood of scheduling conflicts arising.

If you would like to take a tour of the Wildlife Center, please complete our on-site program request form. To schedule an online program, please complete the virtual program request form.

If your program needs are complex, please either complete the form and indicate in the notes field that you need someone to contact you by telephone, or contact us directly at edu@wildlifecenter.org.

Please allow up to seven business days for an outreach staff member to respond to your request once the booking period opens.

Program Location
The street address of where the presentation will take place.

Due to the current concern and risk for Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI), we need to gather as much information about the program location/layout as we can to assess risk to our avian ambassadors. We are currently not able to bring avian ambassadors to any outdoor space where domestic poultry, waterfowl, or other raptors are housed.

Program Information
Program Type

If you are requesting multiple presentations on the same day, please indicate the times for each program, or provide alternate times if you are requesting a singular program.

Audience
Will this program be open to the public?
We do not currently offer animal programs for pre-schools/groups of children less than 5 years old. While our animal ambassadors are comfortable around people, loud noises such as shouting and clapping can be very stressful for them, and we more frequently encounter higher noise levels with younger groups. Please contact edu@wildlifecenter.org if you have questions or concerns regarding group ages.

Please note that we strongly recommend group sizes no larger than approximately 150 people for indoor assembly-style programs. This helps maintain audience engagement, as audience sizes larger than this are often less engaged due to increased noise levels, difficulty seeing the animals, and other factors depending on the group and programming area. We are more than happy to conduct multiple programs to accommodate groups larger than 150 people if needed.
