On December 18, Director of Outreach Connor Gillespie and Ambassador Program Manager Haley Williamson brought three of the Center's education ambassadors to share their stories at the CBS19 studio. The visiting ambassadors included Wilson the Woodland Box Turtle, Clover the American Kestrel, and Lucy the Virginia Opossum. Their studio visit highlighted the Center's Caring for Critters program, a way the public can help support the ambassador animals at the Center.
“When people sponsor these animals, what they're really doing is supporting the animals' care. In return, they'll get a sponsorship packet with an official certificate of adoption, the animal's photo, and its story. We'll also send out occasional email updates letting them know exactly how their sponsored animal is doing."
