On September 17, Director of Outreach Connor Gillespie and Rosalie the Red-tailed Hawk stopped by the CBS19 studio to discuss fall bird migration. Each year during peak migration season, the Center experiences a noticeable rise in admissions of raptors and songbirds—most often the result of vehicle collisions or window strikes. Fortunately, there are simple steps people can take to support birds as they make their long and often perilous journeys.
