In May, Clover the American Kestrel and Director of Outreach Connor Gillespie visited two local news studios to talk about baby bird season. During spring, the Center fields hundreds of phone calls from people who find baby birds outside the nest. Connor and Clover shared what to do – and what not to do – if you find a baby bird that may need help.

There's the chance that they may try to help that animal, but unintentionally do harm, so that's why we decided to come in today, to try to coach people on what to do and what not to do when they find baby birds.”
