Caring for Critters Sponsorships. Through Caring for Critters, generous supporters of the Wildlife Center “adopt” one or more of our resident education animals for six months or one year. Adoption packets include the sponsored animal’s biography, a photo of the animal, detailed natural history information, a personalized certificate of sponsorship, and occasional email updates on “your” animal’s activities. Caring for Critters sponsorships make wonderful gifts for children, classrooms, or adults! And new for 2024 — for a limited time, only with a Caring for Critters sponsorship — you may purchase a beautiful 2024 wall calendar featuring full-page photographs of our ambassador animals.
Books. We have a variety of wildlife books for the bookworm in your life, including three children’s books, all based on true stories of former Wildlife Center patients. For adults, we’re thrilled to stock What an Owl Knows: The New Science of the World’s Most Enigmatic Birds, by New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Ackerman. The Wildlife Center staff are featured in one of the chapters!
- Note cards. This pen-and-ink drawing of Ambassador Buddy was created by artist Marianne Ashurst, and the note cards were lovingly printed, folded, and packaged by Janice Stewart. This pack includes 12 note cards; each card includes information about the Wildlife Center and has Buddy’s story on the back.
T-shirts, totebags, stickers, and more! Wear your support of the Wildlife Center through a t-shirt, tote bag, sticker, or coozie. Don’t forget to check the "retired" section of the shop for discontinued designs and styles!
- Critter Cam sponsorships. For the person on your list who doesn’t want any more “stuff”, consider a Critter Cam sponsorship! This $46/day sponsorship helps the Center meet the costs of streaming the live camera feed through the internet, the overhead costs of cameras and other equipment, and the expenses of life-saving treatment for wild animals in need. Sponsorships are a great way to honor birthdays, anniversaries, or “just because”!
