- First Patient of the Year: Bald Eagle.
- Busiest Day of Admissions: Thursday, September 6. 70 patients were admitted to the Wildlife Center that day.
- Most numerous species treated in 2012: Eastern Cottontail. In 2012, there were 365 admitted.
- Busiest Day on the Center’s website: January 3, with 8,436 visitors to the website that day. Features that day included Bald Eagle #12-0001 as well as a patient update on Bald Eagle NX! [links].
- Second Busiest Day on the Center’s website: May 16, the Bald Eagle NX was released at the Rappahannock River Valley National Wildlife Refuge.
- Most viewed Facebook post: Photo of a Chesapeake Black Bear cub that was admitted on July 27, 2012. More than 11,000 people saw this post.
- Most viewed YouTube video: The release of six Black Bears.
- Last Patient of the Year: Bald Eagle.
