Maymont Cheers to 100 Years

Join the Wildlife Center at Maymont in Richmond on Saturday, June 6, for Maymont’s Cheer to 100 Years celebration!

Three of the Center’s animal ambassadors will take the stage during live presentations at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. Meet the ambassadors, hear their stories, and discover how the Wildlife Center cares for Virginia’s native wildlife.

While you're there, explore Maymont’s 100-acre estate, including the newly reopened Virginia Wildlife Trail and Maymont Mansion, and visit even more animals at The Robins Nature Center and Maymont Farm.

The celebration will also feature an afternoon full of family-friendly activities, including games, crafts, animal keeper talks, live music, food trucks, and guided tours of the mansion and gardens.

Admission is free, and no registration is required—just come out and join the fun!

Ridesharing and public transit are strongly encouraged. Limited free parking will be available at the Hampton Street entrance, The Robins Nature Center, and Maymont Farm. Please note that a short detour is in place due to roadwork on Hampton Street near Colorado Avenue.
